| Prouse Electric Ltd. was started in 1978 by Hugh Prouse and has been family owned and operated for almost 35 years, providing residential and light commercial electrical services to its customers. In 1995, Hugh’s son, Robert, took over the business after his father’s retirement. Since this succession, with his 23 years experience as a licensed electrician under his belt, 10 of which a master electrician, Robert expanded the electrical division to provide services to include large commercial and industrial. In 2000, with an already successful electrical company, Robert had the idea to provide more than just electrical services…how could we better serve our customers? After careful consideration, the Mechanical departments were incorporated, and named under the ‘Prouse’ umbrella. Prouse Mechanical Ltd. consists of Plumbing and Heat & Cooling divisions. We are currently the only ‘One Stop Shop’ for all of a customer’s electrical/mechanical renovation and new construction needs in Tillsonburg and surrounding area.
